Hi, I’m Janet – the face behind the camera at Janet Camm Photography.

I’m a Melbourne-based family photographer who believes life’s best moments are the messy, giggly, wonderfully imperfect ones. Whether your toddler refuses to sit still or your dog is zooming in circles, or your whole crew can’t stop laughing — that’s my favourite kind of photoshoot.

Being a photographer is a dream come true for me.  Having grown up with  some sort of camera always in hand , I actually can't quite believe that I now get to call this my job.  I feel like the luckiest person in the world sometimes. Getting to meet all these amazing families and being able to work in some incredibly beautiful locations.  

 

Based in Melbourne's east I use many locations all over Melbourne.  The Yarra Valley, Dandenong Ranges, Melbourne City as well as many inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne.  How lucky are we to have so many stunning parks and gardens to capture such precious memories.  ​

I truly believe that photographs are our most important possession and they become more precious as the years go by.
